State 4-H Legislative Day
Several Saluda County 4-H Members participated in the State 4-H Legislative Day. During our day-long visit at the State Capital, members had the chance to meet Representative Cal Forrest, Senator Shane Massey and Senator Floyd Nicholson. We were among over 150 4-H members from across the state that gathered on the state house steps to hear speeches from 4-H Alumni including State Superintendent of Education, Molly Spearman and Commissioner of Agriculture, Hugh Weathers. Youth attending from Saluda 4-H were Lindsey Scott, Carrie Trotter, Allie Trotter, Blake Scott, Cordell Rush and Jackson Prewett.
